On October 25th, The 2nd CATA Aviation Conference hosted by the China Air Transport Association was held in Beijing.
The theme of the conference is Smart Aviation Innovating Our Future. Taking aviation safety, service quality, regularity, decarbonization and digitalization as the elements, it is composed of three units including opening ceremony, industry forum and professional exhibition.

Focusing on high quality development of air transportation, smart aviation innovation, cyber security and data protection, general aviation and the development of low altitude economy, aviation finance aviation logistics and other topics, the industry forum and professional exhibition discuss and explore new trends of civil aviation.

During the conference, there were a wealth of interactive and experiential activities. Audience experienced flying a plane in a simulated cockpit, aviation clothing culture display, public tasting of airline food and other activities, to jointly present features of the full supply chain service of civil aviation.
In order to actively implement the civil aviation green development plan, the exhibition also invited some green environmental protection enterprises. Hoping to promote the use of low carbon, environmentally friendly, biodegradable and recyclable paper and plastic products in the civil aviation industry, thus contributing to green flight.
"The main feature of the water based paper cup is the water based barrier coating technology we used." Mr. Zang, APP China Market Director, said. "While making paper, this technology enables paper to be waterproof and impermeable. So in that case, when it s made into paper cups, there is no need to apply a layer of traditional PE coating inside the cups. So these paper cups are different from other plastic coated paper cups. It can be fully integrated into the waste paper recycling system to be reproduced, ensuring that all paper cups are not wasted, buried, or burned for nothing.

According to the relevant person in charge of the association, airlines, airports, air traffic controllers, aviation equipment manufacturers, aviation food companies and related equipment manufacturers, research institutes and civil aviation colleges and universities participated in the exhibition, fully showcasing the achievements of technological innovation and development in the aviation industry.
